About the band
What kind of music do you play? We play a variety of country, classic rock, blues, jazz, latin and r&b as well as some originals, tailored to our clients needs for their event to make it memorable for all. We can provide a complete playlist of our repertoire of songs, and also can add songs to our set as requested by our clients.
What is the band's story? We play for our therapy, each one of us having had tragedies that have rocked us to our core. Together we play to sooth our souls by escaping into the music we play and we hope that you feel this when we play and escape your woes temporarily with us for an evening. Inspired by the music greats of all decades we play the best of bygone era’s. The band was formed initially by husband and wife duo Mike and Tracey with a few different drummers since Covid, with their current drummer Benjamin joining them in their therapeutic journey of playing music for all to escape with them.
Who are the members and what do they play? Tracey is the lead vocalist of the group, while playing bass and keyboards. Mike is her husband playing lead and rhythym guitar and some vocals when Tracey needs a break. Benjamin is the drummer and we’re working on him to add his voice for some additional sweet harmonies to Mike and Tracey’s vocals. Fun fact…Benjamin’s cousin is the drummer in another Nebraska band by the name of the Kyle Salyer Band.
What are your musical influences? Tracey has been inspired by the vocal diva greats from Etta James, Anne Wilson of Heart, Pat Benatar, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, Lady Gaga, Wynona Judd, Martina McBride, Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Beth Hart to Soulful greats like Steve Perry, Bon Jovi, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Teddy Swims and Jelly Roll.
Mike’s guitar slaying skills have been influenced by the guitar greats like BB King, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen, Santana, and Keith Urban.
Benjamin received the Louie Armstrong award during his schooling for his Jazz skills. His rock drumming has been heavily influenced by drum legends Keith Moon of The Who, Neil Peart of Rush, John Bonham from Led Zeppelin, and Stewart Copeland of the Police.
